Ozark Highlands Trail Hike — Sylamore Creek
HikingGuided hike on the Ozark Highlands Trail along Sylamore Creek in Ozark National Forest. 6 miles round trip, moderate. Wildflowers and swimming hole at turnaround. Free, no permit required.
Youth Fishing Derby — Marion County Lake
Fishing DerbyAGFC-sponsored youth derby at stocked Marion County Lake. Ages 15 and under fish free. Prizes, free bait provided. Registration 7 AM, fishing 8–11 AM.
Norfork Lake Bass Tournament — Open Division
TournamentOpen-division tournament out of Gamaliel ramp. All boats welcome. Largemouth and spotted bass with excellent keeper counts expected from post-spawn summer patterns. Entry fee applies.
Catfish Classic — Bull Shoals Lake
TournamentFourth of July weekend catfish tournament on Bull Shoals Lake. Blue and channel cat in the deep timber near the dam. Night fishing allowed. Fireworks viewing on the water after weigh-in.
